The Highline Community Symphonic Band, directed by Corinne Smith, will spread holiday cheer with a free one-hour concert on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024.

The performance, titled “Peace on Earth,” will begin at 2 p.m. in the Highline High School Theater, located inside the school at 225 S. 152nd Street in Burien (NOT in the Highline Performing Arts Center; map below).

The family-friendly concert will feature a selection of seasonal favorites from renowned composers such as Handel, Bach, Reed, Spittal, Jarvis, Anderson, and others.

Attendees are invited to enjoy a complimentary cookie reception following the performance.

This event is free to the public and is partially funded by the City of Burien and King County’s 4Culture program.
