This week, the Highline Schools Foundation received a record-breaking donation of $2.17 million, marking the largest single gift in the foundation’s history.

The generous contribution – made by an anonymous donor – will be used to fund future scholarships for students graduating from Highline Public Schools.

“We’re so grateful to this donor (who wants to remain anonymous) and so excited to be able to use these funds to support so many dreams and goals of Highline’s incredible scholars for years to come,” Executive Director Fred Swanson said.

The extraordinary investment will support the dreams and goals of Highline students for years to come.

The foundation’s commitment to providing educational support and resources will be significantly bolstered by this donation, enabling many students to pursue higher education and achieve their aspirations.

ABOUT THE HIGHLINE SCHOOLS FOUNDATION
The Highline Schools Foundation is the only nonprofit organization dedicated entirely to the support and success of Highline Public Schools’ students. We unite community support for innovative and equitable learning across Highline Public Schools. One of our core areas of interest is funding programs that prepare students for college and career readiness and success. This includes awarding college and trade school scholarships each spring.
