The King Conservation District has opened its online Native Plant Sale store for 2026, offering residents across King County an opportunity to purchase affordable native trees and shrubs for conservation and home landscaping projects.

According to the district, the annual sale features bareroot native plants suited for wildlife habitat, hedgerows, reforestation, windbreaks and stream enhancement. Bareroot stock is harvested in winter while dormant, making the plants hardy, cost effective and easy to transport and replant.

All orders will be distributed at the Tukwila Community Center during a series of rolling pickup dates leading up to the main event on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026. As KCD staff finish packing orders on site, customers will be notified that their purchase is ready.

Rolling pickup dates for notified customers are scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, and Thursday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All customers may pick up their orders on Saturday, Feb. 28, between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

KCD noted that walk up plant sales will not be available during pickup days.

Residents can browse plants and place orders through the online store here.
