Take 5 minutes to help Foster Kids in Washington State

Sponsored by Treehouse November 18, 2025November 18, 2025

In April, the Washington State Legislature eliminated over $7 million of Treehouse’s state funding. That decision impacted 400 students experiencing foster care who are now without Treehouse’s Graduation Success services.

Now is the time to urge Gov. Ferguson to restore Treehouse funding in his 2026 budget proposal. You can do that today in 1 minute—using Treehouse’s online advocacy tool to email the Governor’s office.

Let’s band together to ensure young people in foster care have the educational support they need to graduate from high school! After you send your message, share this call to action with your friends, family, and community—our goal is that the Governor receives more than 1,000 messages from all over the state.
