The King County Medical Examiners Office has identified the victim of the Nov. 20 pedestrian/vehicle accident as Christine A. Nichols, 54, who died after being struck by a vehicle on the roadway at 17700 1st Ave S. in Normandy Park.
The medical examiner reported that Nichols died from multiple blunt force injuries.
The manner of death was ruled an accident, and the Normandy Park Police Department is investigating.
As we previously reported, the tragic accident happened around 7:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of 1st Ave S. near the 17800 block, as Nichols was crossing from the westbound side to the eastbound side of the street.
Fire crews attempted life saving measures, but sadly, Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene.
