Lake Burien Presbyterian invites all seekers to their Good Friday (April 7, 6:30 p.m.) and Easter Sunday – on April 9, 9:30 a.m. – services.

The Good Friday service is entitled “The 7 Last Words” and presents a meaningful and intriguing opportunity for spiritual encounter.

“With the integration of music and art, seven diverse and powerful voices will share their reflections and unique interpretations on the seven last words of Christ on the Cross, inviting the community into a time of thoughtful contemplation and heartfelt worship as we pause, with gratitude, for the sacrifice made on the cross,” reads an announcement.

In addition to their Good Friday Service, the congregation of  “Lake B.” Presbyterian as it is affectionately known, extend an invitation to the community to join them for their Easter Sunday service featuring Rev. Dr. Tali Hairston, delivering a message entitled “Seeking: who are you looking for?’ based on the gospel of John 20:1-18.

Lake Burien Presbyterian  is a growing, diverse congregation of people from all different backgrounds and cultures.

“We have a common commitment to love courageously, take risks and challenge what we think we know in order to see Jesus more clearly. We desire “the gospel fully alive” in us – that is, that the good news of Christ would not just be heard but experienced through the way we live, serve and love.”
