Living nearby I regularly witness the aftermath of the services they provide, clients lingering in doorways and leaving trash from donations and drug use paraphernalia strewn about. HSD Security regularly finds clients setting up camp on the property or parked off-hours in the lots which consumes resources. On Friday I dropped by and showed a staff member a pile of garbage in a doorway left from Wednesday’s service, it was items such as unused toilet paper, Q-tip’s and food scraps etc they had handed out that was wasted by a mentally or drug impaired client. If they want to be known for helping others they need to make sure they enforce the rules, clean up and be a good neighbor.
