The Washington State Patrol is reporting that on Monday night, Feb. 19, 2024 just before 9 p.m., a vehicle with an unresponsive male driver was found in lane 2 of southbound SR 509 near 146th Street in Burien (map below).
Troopers arrived along with King County Fire District #2 shortly after the report, and CPR was initiated.
Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced deceased after life-saving efforts.
The deceased victim was a 55-year-old male whose identity and city of residence has not yet been released.
His cause of death will be determined by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.
