On Sunday, May 7, 2023, members of the Normandy Park United Church of Christ will be participating in the 2023 Des Moines/Highline CROP Hunger Walk to support CWS and help families who are struggling with hunger.

This year’s walk will run from 1 – 3 p.m., and they will again start at the Des Moines United Methodist Church and walk through the streets of downtown and the marina, and they’re inviting you.

“Join us in person or spirit so that we can provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them, and greater food security in communities around the world,” organizers said.

Other participating churches include Des Moines United Methodist, Southminster Presbyterian, First Baptist Church in Des Moines, Lake Burien Presbyterian, and Prince of Peace Lutheran.
