The League of Women Voters Seattle & King County will be holding a free Zoom webinar entitled “HOMELESSNESS: HOW DID WE GET HERE?” TONIGHT – Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, starting at 6:30 p.m.

This is the first in a four-part series of panels called “Homelessness: How Did We Get Here?” The series will explore homelessness in depth, with the goal of broadening public awareness and understanding of this complex issue.

Attendees will hear from policy experts, researchers, lawmakers, and people with lived experience of homelessness.

Organizers said they will cover risk factors for homelessness, challenge biases and stereotypes around the issue, evaluate local efforts to reduce homelessness, and explore policy solutions from other areas.

“Come learn from a panel of community leaders with direct lived experience of homelessness, moderated by Felicia Hudson.”

Co-sponsored by LWVSKC and the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle.
