REMINDER: Burien’s beloved summer tradition – “Music in the Park” – continues its 2025 concert series this Thursday night, Aug. 14, 2025 with live country music from The Olson Bros Band.

The free show takes place at Lake Burien School Memorial Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to don your cowboy boots and hats, bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners to enjoy the show under the summer sky.

It’s the perfect way to relax with friends, neighbors, and family while taking in top-tier live music.

The 2025 series has just one more performance, set for next Thursday, Aug. 21.

“The Olson Bros Band originated in Olympia, WA and is led by singer/songwriters and brothers Luke and Isaac Olson. 

“After winning a songwriting contest for their original song ‘Sunrise’ in 2013, the band has been touring almost year round and has went on to record over 7 albums in that time! The band has only been gaining momentum and were named ‘King 5 Evening Magazine’s’ Best local band of Western Washington voted on by fans all over the northwest in 2023!

“The brothers have been blessed to share the stage over the years with some of country musics greats, including Eddie Montgomery, Craig Morgan, Dwight Yoakam, Lonestar, Phil Vassar, Michael Ray, Niko Moon, Eli Young Band and more. In 2021, the bros released their 4th studio album called ‘I Bleed Evergreen’, with the title track landing them a commercial for Subaru.  Their song ‘By and By’ has received international attention with a line dance for the song spreading across many countries in Europe and Latin America.”
