Residents across South King County are invited to shop for handmade ceramic art and support local artists at Moshier’s Spring Pottery Sale this Saturday, May 9, in Burien.

The twice yearly event – just in time for Mother’s Day – will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Burien Community Center, located at 14700 6th Ave SW (map below).

According to organizers, students and instructors gather for the sale to showcase and sell handmade ceramic wares ranging from mugs and bowls to serving dishes, casseroles, jewelry, sculpture and garden art.

Organizers encouraged attendees to “bring family and friends to this great event to support local artists.”

The sale will feature hundreds of handcrafted items and is intended to highlight the work of local ceramic artists and makers from the community.

Payment will be accepted by credit card or cash only, according to event information.
