REMINDER: Burien residents are invited to celebrate Chanukah with a festive gathering this Sunday, Dec. 29, at 4 p.m. at the Highline Heritage Museum (map below).

Organized by Chabad of Burien and Federal Way, the event offers an opportunity to learn about Chanukah traditions and enjoy activities for all ages.

The celebration will feature a giant menorah lighting to honor the festival of lights, as well as traditional treats like latkes and doughnuts.

Attendees can also participate in fun games, including a “Guess How Many Dreidels” contest, and a variety of kids’ activities.

Admission is free, making it a family-friendly event open to everyone in the community.
