REMINDER: The Northwest Symphony Orchestra will be performing a Valentine’s Concert this Friday, Feb. 7 at the Highline Performing Arts Center.

This concert – which starts at 7:30 p.m. – will center around the exciting theme of dance, beginning with Symphonic Dances by local composer Bruce Stark and finishing with Rachmaninoff’s own popular Symphonic Dances.

In between these two pieces, the NWSO will celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with a performance of his famous Emperor Piano Concerto with the exciting young soloist, Zeze Xue.
