Soccer fans in Burien, SeaTac, Tukwila and South King County will have multiple opportunities to gather for FIFA World Cup action starting this week and continuing throughout the summer, with public viewing parties.
Burien is embracing World Cup fever through its “Burien Fan Zone” initiative, which includes watch parties, soccer themed activities and community events tied to the tournament.
Here’s a roundup of some of the public viewing parties and soccer celebrations happening around South King County:
⚽ Burien Fan Zone
Burien is one of Washington’s official World Cup fan zone communities and has launched a “Summer of Soccer” campaign.
Burien’s first free viewing party will be Thursday, June 11 at Town Square, starting at Noon.
Grab your lawn chair, bring friends and family, and join the Burien Fan Zone for an exciting day of international soccer on the big screen.
Watch the action live in Burien Town Square Park while enjoying food, community activities, and a festive atmosphere that brings fans together from across our region.
Thursday Watch Parties will be held during the Discover Burien Farmers Market, featuring local food vendors, fresh produce, artisan booths, and activities for kids and families throughout the day.
On non-market days, the Burien Fan Zone will feature family-friendly activities, lawn games, and a variety of food options while fans gather to enjoy the matches together.
