Kennedy Catholic High School will host its 8th annual Lancer Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 3, at Rainier Golf and Country Club, with proceeds supporting student scholarships.
The event will feature an 11 a.m. shotgun start and includes green fees, golf carts, range balls, a taco bar during the course turn, and dinner and awards following the tournament, according to information released by the school.
Kennedy Catholic officials said the fundraiser is open to alumni, parents, students and community supporters interested in helping provide scholarship opportunities for Lancer students.
“This is the perfect opportunity to play one of Washington’s premier private courses while supporting student scholarships at Kennedy Catholic High School,” organizers said in the event announcement.
The school is also seeking tournament sponsors and said multiple sponsorship levels are available for businesses interested in advertising while supporting students.
“We look forward to you swinging by and enjoying a day of golf and giving,” Director of Development Karen Cascio said.
