SAVE THE DATE: The 14th annual “Walk for the Women,” a fundraiser for Burien’s Hospitality House – will be Saturday, Sept. 19, in conjunction with the Burien Wellness Fair.
Hospitality House, a shelter that provides meals and program services for homeless women in south King County, has served hundreds of women since 2000.
Adults, families and pets are welcome on this fun 2-mile walk around Burien.
Cost is $20 if you register before Sept. 19, and $25 on the day of the event. Walk-up registration starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Hospitality House table near SW 152nd Street and 5th Place SW (Burien Town Square).
In addition to helping a great local cause, there will be prizes for top money-raisers. Multiply your efforts by asking friends, family, neighbors & co-workers to sponsor you with donations to Hospitality House.
