St. Vincent de Paul announced this week that it will be reopening its Thrift Stores – including in Burien – on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.

Shopping aisles will be one-way only, social distancing of 6 ft. apart will be maintained, shopping visits will be 30 minutes in length, customers will be asked to wear a face covering, and there will be specific occupancies for each store that is being reopened.

It will also be reopening its Kenmore and Renton thrift stores, but not the Seattle store (on Aurora Avenue) or Kent store at this time.

Hours for Burien, Kenmore and Renton are:

    • Mon. to Sat.: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
    • Sunday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

They will not be taking furniture donations until further notice.

“We care about wanting to make certain you have a pleasant experience shopping with us and we want to make sure you feel comfortable and safe and that you will tell your friends and neighbors and return for more visits!

“We are adhering to very specific and strict guidelines for the store re-openings as specified by Governor Inslee’s Phased Re-Opening of Washington’s economy.”

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store is located at 13445 1st Ave S.:
