A man was arrested earlier this week after Burien Police deputies responded to a commercial burglary in progress at the CVS store on 4th Ave SW in Burien, according to police.
Deputies were dispatched to the business and found signs of forced entry and damage to merchandise inside the store, police said.
The suspect had already fled before deputies arrived, and a K9 unit was requested to help track him.
While checking the area around the business, one deputy saw a man who matched the description from the store’s camera footage, police said.
“After a short jog, the suspect ultimately became tired and surrendered,” police said in a statement.
The man was arrested for commercial burglary and transported to the King County Jail, where he was booked, according to police.
Charges are being filed with the Prosecutor’s Office.

Just another day in the surrounding area of the DESC/Transit Center. But a big thumbs up to the KC Sheriff for catching him.
