Early Saturday morning, Feb. 25, 2023 at around 2:45 a.m., Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of SW 152nd Street in the Lake Burien/Seahurst neighborhood (map below) for an unknown problem.

Deputies arrived on scene and spoke with a male who had obvious cuts on his hands, which appeared consistent with a physical fight.

Police say the man was not able to give a clear story as to what had happened.

A half hour later, deputies received a call from Valley Medical Center in Kent about a patient reporting injuries he received somewhere in the Burien area. Although initially it was reported he was shot, deputies interviewed the patient and found that he too suffered cuts and was the brother-in-law of the first man’s roommate.

Fire Departments units – while dispatched to the scene – never arrived, as they were canceled while en route to the location.

This is still an open and active case, under #C23006541.
