Have you been interested in becoming more involved in your community? Wondering how you can support your local businesses? Discover Burien has three open positions for Board members this year. Three board members are up for renewal.
Board members serve a three-year term and assist with following the strategic plan of the Discover Burien Organization within the Burien Community. They meet monthly the second Wednesday of the month for 1.5 hours, plus occasional committee work.
If you are interested in running for the position you would have to be a Discover Burien Member in order to be on the voting ballot at the Annual Meeting in May. You’ll also need 9 signatures from current members recommending your nomination for the ballot.
