Eastbound SR 518 will narrow to one lane between Airport Expressway and 51st Ave S. from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 4 for ground penetrating radar work, WSDOT announced.
This work coincides with the following indefinite closures for a failed culvert:
- The eastbound SR 518 on-ramp from SR 99 is closed;
- The right lane of the Airport Expressway on-ramp to eastbound SR 518 is closed.
People traveling in the area, especially those leaving Seattle-Tacoma International Airport overnight, should use alternate routes and expect delays.
