Your wish is granted – auditions for Highline Musical Theatre’s “Into the Woods JR.” are coming in September.
The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.
Audition Details
- Initial Auditions: Monday, Sept. 14, beginning at 5 p.m.
- Performers will be assigned a one-hour audition time after registering.
- Callbacks and Dance Auditions: Thursday, Sept. 17, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
- Everyone will participate in the dance audition. No advance dance preparation is needed—the combination will be taught that evening. Some performers will be asked to stay for singing callbacks.
