Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a couple of sharp-eyed deputies lead to the recent arrest of a stolen car suspect:

Police say that on Friday, May 15, 2020 deputies responded to a vehicle theft in the 1200 block of SW 128th Street in Burien (map below). The victim reported that his pickup truck was stolen from a parking lot in his apartment complex, but no suspects were identified.

The following afternoon, deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of SW 126th Street after the stolen vehicle was found at a home. A witness observed 3 male suspects flee on foot from the area.

As deputies arrived on scene, they saw a man matching the description of one of the fleeing suspects and detained him.

He was in possession of the keys to the stolen vehicle and was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

The remaining suspects were not found and the investigation continues.
