  • Larry Cripe joined with other Burien residents to form the Quiet Skies Coalition, whose mission is restore the quiet skies over the greater Burien area. He brought residents together to advocate for the Burien community in negotiations with the Federal Aviation Administration and City of Burien.
  • Wendy Meyers-Wenger has owned and operated the Highline Tutoring Center in Burien continuously for 34 years, inspiring thousands of students to reach their full potential.
