The King County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Burien/Normandy Park Fire Department, responded to a vehicle fire near 1st Ave South and SW/S. 124th Street in Burien (map below) just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 13.

A van was burning, and initially police thought it may have been from a collision – based on what one of the occupants told them.

However, deputies did not find another vehicle or any evidence of a collision.

At any rate, the van caught on fire and burned.

Fire Investigators responded and investigated.

Cause of the fire is not yet known.
