NOISE 101 SYMPOSIUM

The City of SeaTac and Port of Seattle invite all to attend a ‘Noise 101 Symposium’ on Saturday, Jan. 12, led by Steve Alverson, National Director of ESA Airports, a national consulting firm specializing in noise, environmental and aviation planning services.

Steve offers course participants 37 years of aircraft noise analysis and control experience at many of the busiest airports in the United States. Topics covered in this symposium are:

  • The Principles of Aviation Noise
  • Quantifying Aircraft Noise
  • Aircraft Noise Regulations and Guidance
  • Principles of Aircraft Noise Control

The event is cosponsored by the City of SeaTac and Port of Seattle.
