Cedarhurst Elementary School’s PTA is seeking local businesses, organizations, and food vendors to take part in its annual Fall Festival, set for Friday, Oct. 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the school.

The festival is the school’s largest family event of the year and will feature carnival games, prizes, and activities.

The event is free for all Cedarhurst students and their families, according to the PTA.

To help keep activities at no cost to families, the PTA is asking local businesses and organizations to sponsor or host a carnival game or activity.

Sponsors will be recognized in event flyers and communications, and the deadline to apply is Oct. 3.

The PTA is also accepting applications from food trucks, which must pay a $100 vendor fee. Space is limited, and submissions are also due by Oct. 3.

Cedarhurst Elementary serves more than 400 students in grades K-5 in northeast Burien. Organizers said they are open to creative donations or services from community members who want to support the event.

Those interested can complete the Fall Festival Interest Form, or email cedarhurstpta611@gmail.com.
