From our friends at WABI Burien:

Let’s venture over to Renton for a popular walk along the Cedar River trail on Wednesday, July 15th, starting at 9 a.m. Everyone is invited to join our group of WABI Weekday Walkers on this flat, 3-mile route that follows the Cedar River.

We’ll start from the northern end of the Cedar River trail parking lot, near the Renton Rowing Center and closest to Lake Washington. Bathroom facilities are available nearby. The walk will take us south on the Cedar River trail for 1.5 miles. Along the way we’ll pass the Renton airport, Renton Memorial Stadium, and plenty of forest and river views before we turn around at the Renton Public Library.

This flat, 3-mile round trip journey on paved pathways will take about one hour.
