Local Actors/Producers/Educators David S. Hogan and Angela DiMarco will headline the next Burien Film Office Happy Hour, to be held on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the Tin Theater.
This is a free, open and all-ages event, with networking beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation at 6 p.m.
David and Angela are a local husband and wife team who have been working in the industry for many years as actors. In 2012 they began teaching acting for the camera and producing films. Between April 2012 – April 2015, they produced six short films, and one feature film.
Their first feature film, Paralytic, directed by Joey Johnson, premiered at the 2016 Seattle International Film Festival; here’s a trailer:

Many may also recognize David from his role as FBI Special Agent Mitchell in the locally-shot and produced film “The Maury Island Incident.”
ABOUT DAVID S. HOGAN David started working on the craft of acting at Seattle University, and quickly learned he had a passion for Shakespeare. After graduating in 2000, he landed his first professional Shakespeare role in the Proteus with Wooden O Theatre. This would prove to be a lasting relationship, as David has performed with the company, any their affiliate, Seattle Shakespeare Company, many time, playing roles such as Caliban, Mark Antony, Grumio, and King Henry. David’s pursuit of work in front of the camera began in earnest in 2011. Since then, he has booked many films, a TV pilot for Spike TV, worked along side Cary Elwes in A Bit of Bad Luck, and in 2012 he made is network television debut on NBC’s Grimm (Season 1, Episode 18). ABOUT ANGELA DIMARCO Angela was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She was cast in her first feature film, Waiting for the Light (starring Shirley MacLaine and Teri Garr), when she was ten years old. Still a student at Summit K-12 Alternative School of the Arts, she continued training and performing – in local commercials, voice-overs, and on the stage. She attended Otterbein College, where she studied in the BFA program. She then moved to Los Angeles where she competed in IMTA (International Modeling and Talent Association) and received the award for Best Comedic Performance. While is Los Angeles she met Sven Pape, who would later direct her in the horror feature film, Hollywood Kills (starring Dominic Keating). Angela began to teach and direct young actors in Los Angeles, creating new material for the actors to perform on stage, and working with original scenes to film for their reels. In 1999, she moved back to Seattle and continued to teach young actors in the Northwest. Angela has worked steadily as a stage and film actress for over 20 years. Appearing at The Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman Playhouse, Village Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, and more, garnering praise from peers, the press, and receiving three Gregory Award Nominations: 2010-2012. Having been a child actor herself, she knows the struggles and fears that come with the territory.
