Burien, Des Moines and SeaTac are inviting residents to a community open house on Tuesday, July 14 to learn more about the Port of Seattle’s Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) and its potential impacts on communities near Sea-Tac Airport.

The open house is scheduled for Tuesday night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Burien City Hall, 400 SW 152nd St., in the council chambers and library meeting room.

According to the cities, the event will give community members a chance to learn more about the plan, explore potential effects on airport area communities and find out how to submit comments before the public comment period closes July 21.

The comment period applies to the State Environmental Policy Act Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Port’s Sustainable Airport Master Plan.

Spanish interpretation will be provided.
