Artists United is presenting its annual Juried Art Show at the new Burien Arts Gallery for the month of May. Â The gallery is located at 826 S.W. 152 St. in Olde Burien.
Hours are Wednesday through Saturday, Noon- 6 p.m. and Sunday, Noon- 4 p.m. The Juried Art Show will run until June 1.
The Juried Art Show is a members only show and the artwork was juried by well-known Seattle artist Lois Silver, whose own work may be viewed at http://www.lisaharrisgallery.com/artists/silver.php
The top awards were as follows:
1st Place – Nancy Fulton  “My Equipment”
2nd Place – Alina Gridley ” the Frog Prince”
3rd Place – Janet Price “A Horse for Chagall”
1st Place Photography – Judy Lane “Windswept”
Also receiving awards were: Â Nancy Bogni, Judy Eckhardt, Chris Gonvers, Sharon McConnell, Anita Colby, and Victor Kimsey.
A people’s choice award will be given at the end of the show based on voting by viewers through out the month.]]>
