Artists United’s mission is to provide an organization in which artists work together, encourage each others creativity, and bring art to South King County. It has been in existence since 1949.

The members work in a variety of styles and media, including watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel, mixed media, photography, pottery, printmaking, glass and jewelry.

The exhibition is showing at the new Burien Arts Gallery, which was opened by the Burien Arts Association last fall. The mission of Burien Arts Association is to engage, enrich and entertain all the communities, generations and visitors to the Burien and Greater Highline area through creative and innovative arts programming. The non-profit was founded in the 1960s and for years operated a gallery in the little blue house at Dottie Harper Park.
