Bob-web-program Celebrate the season with the irreverent comedy ‘Bob’s Holiday Office Party’ at Burien Actors Theatre, opening Friday, Nov. 28 and running through Dec. 21. The show incorporates original live music before the show and at intermission. In this comedy in which no cows are sacred, insurance agent Bob Finhead’s whacked-out friends and clients stop by his small-town Iowa office for their chaotic annual holiday bash. The town mayor, the twin farmers, the stoner who sees UFOs, the mayor’s clean-freak wife, the sheriff, the town floozy and the pastor’s wife have already RSVPed for this year’s raucous event. Will Bob live his dream of escaping to the big city to work as an inventor, or is his life’s purpose already under his nose? Will any of it matter once the party starts, and the inventions and the drinks hit the floor? “Devastatingly funny!”— L.A. Times. The show has been a smash hit in L.A. for 18 years. The show is suitable for ages 13-plus due to some adult language and content. Ticket prices range from $7 to $20. New this season, student tickets are just $10. Bring nonperishable food for local food banks and get $2 off ticket–one $2 food donation discount per ticket.
