The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on Saturday morning, March 25, a fatal accident occurred near SW 128th Street and Ambaum Blvd. SW (map below).
Police say that at around 9:15 a.m., a tow truck was traveling southbound on Ambaum near SW 128th Street.
A Mazda car was northbound, driven by a male.
The Mazda crossed into the southbound lanes, causing a head-on accident. The driver of the Mazda died at the scene. He has not yet been identified.
The male driver of tow truck was not injured.
There were no other occupants of either car.
No impairment suspected on part of the tow driver.
Unknown at this time on deceased driver.
Ambaum was closed for a while in both directions at this location.

Right around the corner from my house. 🙁 I hate stories like this…. Sadly, I bet if the police check his cell phone he was using it at the time of the collision.
People, put your phones down when you are in control of a vehicle. The life you save could be your own.
He was a close friend, and this happened because it was raining & lost control of his car.
