Burien Actors Theatre (BAT) presents the modern romantic comedy “Beginning,” written by David Eldridge, from Feb. 14 through March 9, 2025 (except no performance Feb. 28).

In the U.S. premiere of this hit from London’s West End, it’s the early hours of the morning and Danny’s the last straggler at Laura’s housewarming party. The flat’s a mess, and so are they. One more drink? A funny, astute, poignant two-hander that takes an intimate look at being 40-ish and single—and those first fragile moments of risking your heart.

“Written with real depth of insight, humor, compassion and a keen sense of the ridiculous” – The Independent
