Next up in Burien Arts’ FREE Zoom workshop series coming this Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 3 p.m. – the final workshop with teaching artist Nalisha Estrella working on nature and breathe-based mandalas.

Nalisha’s workshop series is called Nature & Flow: Creating Concentric Patterns Inspired by Nature.

For our final workshop with this instructor we’ll be exploring how-to-draw leaves, moss, fungi, twigs, and shells to create unique concentric circles filled with patterns (nature mandalas). If you missed the previous classes, you can still participate.

Each workshop in this series expands on the previous but is capable of being a stand-alone workshop as well.

Students will receive step-by-step instruction on how to create a mandala and are invited to incorporate nature’s treasures from the landscapes in which they live.

We’ll explore textures, patterns and depth. At the end of the course, students will have completed a mandala that they can frame, gift, or continue adding detail(s).

This class will be held online on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 3 p.m.
