Next up in Burien Arts’ FREE Zoom workshop series – this Sunday, July 2, 2023 – we welcome teaching artist Nalisha Estrella, called ‘Nature & Flow: Creating Concentric Patterns Inspired by Nature.

We’ll look closer at nature’s small treasures like leaves, moss, fungi, twigs, rocks and shells to create unique concentric circles filled with patterns (nature mandalas).

Students will receive step-by-step instruction on how to create a mandala and are invited to incorporate nature’s treasures from the landscapes in which they live. We’ll explore textures, patterns and depth. At the end of the course, students will have completed a mandala which they can frame, gift or continue adding detail(s).

This class is online this Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 3 p.m.
