King County Sheriff’s Office K9 Quinn helped Burien Police and the Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team seize drugs, cash, and firearms in a bust near Burien on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025.

Deputies arrested one person and recovered 3 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of $100,000, nearly $3,000 in suspected drug proceeds, and three handguns, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

“K9 Quinn earned a perfect 10 when he helped our Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team bust a drug trafficking operation near Burien,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

  1. I know the police are mandated to provide these reports. They do show that the police are doing their work. But I really don’t want to be reminded about what a dangerous place we live in. I prefer to keep my head in the sand. It would be fine with me if these reports were no longer shared.
