Around 8:10 p.m. Sunday night (Oct. 11), a Burien Police Department cruiser was southbound on 1st Ave South with lights and siren on, en route to back another deputy that had a subject struggling with him. When the deputy reached S. 146th, another car – which was going westbound – pulled in front of him and the patrol car ‘t-boned’ that vehicle. A male passenger in the other car suffered minor injuries, police said. Neither driver was injured. Police are still investigating the incident.]]>Since 2007, The B-Town Blog is Burien’s multiple award-winning hyperlocal news/events website dedicated to independent journalism. Was the driver deaf as well as blind? Or was he on the phone or texting? Maybe he had his music on so loud he couldn’t hear, I thought when you heard a siren you pulled over and stopped, or has that reg gone out of style? So glad no-one was badly injured.
I know you’re being sarcastic but blind people can’t drive.
Blind people can too drive….they just don’t do it very well.
