The City of Burien’s beloved Music in the Park concert series returns this summer, bringing live performances to Lake Burien School Memorial Park every Thursday evening from July 10 through Aug. 21, 2025.
The free concerts, scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m., feature a diverse lineup ranging from Latin rhythms and soulful classics to 90s covers and country hits.
Community members are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and a picnic to enjoy the summer sounds in the park.
This Year’s Lineup:
- July 10: Correo Aéreo (Latin/World)
- July 17: Smashing Flannels (90s Covers)
- July 24: Eric Blu & the Soul Revue (Soul)
- July 31: Island Reminyse Band (Island-Style Covers)
- Aug. 7: Ranger and the Re-Arrangers (Swing)
- Aug. 14: The Olson Brothers (Country)
- Aug. 21: Boogie Boulevard (Dance/R&B Hits of the 70s)
The event is sponsored by the City of Burien, The B-Town Blog, and 4Culture.
Concertgoers are advised to check for updates on potential rain relocations by calling (206) 988-3700 after 5 p.m. on concert nights.
“This series is a great way to celebrate summer, music, and community,” organizers said in announcing the 2025 lineup.
