Kennedy Catholic’s football Lancers rolled past the Kentwood Conquerors 49-14 on Friday night, Sept. 26 in a North Puget Sound League conference football matchup.

The Lancers set the tone early, putting up 14 points in the first quarter and adding 21 more before halftime.

Kentwood scored both of its touchdowns in the second quarter, but Kennedy Catholic shut the Conquerors out in the second half while adding two more touchdowns to seal the victory.

The win gives Kennedy Catholic another decisive league victory as the Lancers continue their season push.

Kentwood, playing at home, fell behind early and was unable to recover.

  • 2nd Quarter: Dante Saladino 15-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Noel. PAT good. (KCHS 35-14 at halftime)
  • 3rd Quarter: Nikko Lecksiwilai 3-yard rushing touchdown. PAT good. (KCHS 42-14)
  • 4th Quarter: Jordan Noel 67-yard rushing touchdown. PAT good. (Final KCHS 49-14)

The football Lancers will next face Auburn in an away game on Thursday night, Oct. 2, with a 7 p.m. kick-off.
