CALL FOR ARTISTS: The 2024 Burien Gallery Program is seeking Artists.
The application deadline is Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023.
“The City of Burien welcomes artists residing in Washington State to apply to exhibit their work in one of three spaces located in Burien, including the Burien Community Center (BCC), The Maverick Apartments, or Merrill Garden Senior Living,” the city said.
There is a $250 artist stipend for The Maverick and Merrill Garden, and a $50 artist stipend for the Burien Community Center.

Burien Community Center Lobby, 14700 6th Ave SW:
- 2D Only
- 2-month exhibit
- $50 artist stipend
Maverick Apartments Window, 150th & 6th Ave SW:
- 2D or 3D
- 4-month exhibit
- $250 artist stipend
Merrill Gardens Senior Living Windows, 4th & 150th SW:
- 2D or 3D
- 4-month exhibit
- $250 artist stipend

- Works will be juried, and you will be notified by mid-December, 2023.
- Incomplete applications may not be considered.
- We encourage artists to look at exhibit spaces before applying.
