The City of Burien is seeking artists for its 2027 Burien Gallery Program, with applications due Friday, Aug. 28, according to information from the city.
The program offers three exhibit location options in Burien, including:
- Burien Community Center lobby: open to 2D artwork only. Selected artists will receive a $50 stipend for a two month exhibit, according to the city.
- The Maverick Apartments window: open to 2D or 3D artwork. Selected artists will receive a $250 stipend for a four month exhibit.
- Merrill Gardens Senior Living windows: open to 2D or 3D artwork. Selected artists will receive a $250 stipend for a four month exhibit.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026.
