CALL FOR CONTENT: All things Burien!
The folks behind a new Community Zine about Burien – to be published in the spring – are looking specifically for black and white line art that would be suitable for coloring, games such as mazes, word find and hidden pictures, and narration in the form of haiku, poetry, or prose of 100 words or less.
Celebrate arts and culture, history and the natural beauty that makes Burien such a fun place to visit and wonderful place to call home.
This ‘free to the community’ collection of local art will be available at spots all over Burien starting in late spring, 2024.
Of course every contributing artist gets a copy, and a cash stipend is available to accepted entries thanks to a grant from the City of Burien. (NOTE: Stipend amount is dependent on the amount of submissions that are accepted).
