Transform Burien will offer free showers this Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and free haircuts will also be offered on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024.
These services are a part of an ongoing collaboration between the local community organization, Shower to the People and Highline Christian Church.
The free showers and haircuts will be at Transform Community Resource Center at the south entrance of the Sunnydale School Building (15623 Des Moines Memorial Dr. S., Burien, WA; map below).
In addition to free showers and haircut services, Transform Burien regularly offers hours for guests on Sundays from 3–5 p.m.; Wednesdays from 12–2 p.m.; and Fridays from 12–2 p.m. Guests are invited during these open times to partake in warm meals, clothing, food and other services. Donation hours are Sundays from 2–5 p.m.; Wednesdays from 11 a.m.–3 p.m.; and Fridays from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Volunteers are also encouraged to enroll.
