Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) is reporting that on Tuesday morning, Nov. 21, 2023 at 6:38 a.m., its Communications Center received a 911 call about a car that was used to smash into the Cigar Land Smoke Shop located next to Emerald City Smoothie in the Burien Plaza located at 126 SW 148th Street (map below).
Police said the suspect(s) fled the scene in another vehicle, and left the first vehicle at the location.
The vehicle left was not listed as stolen, but was impounded and will be processed, Sgt. Eric White told The B-Town Blog.
It is unknown at this point what and how much was stolen from the store, nor what the cost will be to repair the extensive damage done to the front of the business.
Spoke to the clerk Tuesday afternoon. All they took was vape supplies and Newports.
