Northwest Associated Arts will bring a celebration of American folk traditions to South King County next month with its upcoming concert “Woven Together,” set for Saturday, May 16 at the Highline Performing Arts Center.
The performance will begin at 4 p.m. and feature ChoralSounds and TeenSounds, two ensembles that will present a program exploring the roots and influences of Americana music, according to event organizers.
The concert is designed to highlight the “rich tapestry of Americana folk traditions,” offering audiences an opportunity to experience the diverse cultural influences that shape choral music in the United States, Northwest Associated Arts said.
Tickets are priced at $20 and will be available both online and at the door. Admission is free for attendees 17 and under when accompanied by a paying adult.
