At around 9 p.m. on Friday night, Sept. 15, 2023 at the Friendly Normandy Market, six suspects described by police as juvenile/young adult black males assaulted the female clerk with closed fists before stealing money from the till as well as products from the store.

Police said that the suspects arrived and fled in two stolen vehicles, both of which have since been recovered.

The investigation is continuing to identify and hold accountable those responsible.

Thankfully the clerk was not seriously hurt.
