Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 20500 block of Marine View Drive in Normandy Park (map below) at approximately 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023.
Police said that suspects – possibly armed – broke into a residence and fled the scene before police arrived. Police established a heavy perimeter around the area and evacuated nearby residents while they searched for the suspects.
The residence was cleared, but no suspects were located. Police do not believe the suspects are still in the area, but said there will be increased patrols as a precaution.
The suspects are described as mid-30s to early-40s males. One is a white male with facial hair and the other is a Hispanic or black male with facial hair.
“We do want to thank all of the neighboring agencies who assisted to include: Des Moines, WA Police Department, Tukwila Police Department, Port of Seattle Police Department, Renton Police Department, WA, King County Sheriff’s Office, and any others I may have missed,” police said.
